What is a blackout?
A blackout is a phenomenon when your social networks or devices stop responding to you.
Blackouts can occur when someone’s device shuts down and their social media activity goes silent.
The process can also be triggered by viruses or other malicious software.
What you need to know about social media blackout The social media app Facebook has a built-in feature called “blackout mode”, which is meant to help you find and manage your friends and followers.
To turn off the feature, go to the settings on your Facebook app and select the “black out” option.
To change your Facebook privacy settings, open the settings and then scroll down to “privacy settings”.
This should bring up a new screen.
Select “Block all apps” and then “Block your device from Facebook”.
This will prevent Facebook from listening to your messages, viewing your posts, and accessing your posts from your phone.
To disable the feature permanently, head to the “settings” menu again.
