Facebook is making it easier for users to report illegal gambling on the social network.
The company said it is using its new “report illegal gambling” feature to help police enforce the law on social media.
It will also make it easier to identify suspected gambling sites by showing which social media sites users have flagged.
Gambling sites are banned from using Facebook’s search feature or linking to their sites on other social media platforms.
The announcement comes as Facebook struggles to cope with the fallout from the 2016 election, which saw its shares tumble more than 60 per cent.
